Driver for 737NGX?

Featured Replies

Hi,

?After having a long time fan and gotten tremendous amounts of joy from the 737NG, I have now decided to start my own home cockpit project. To that end, I guess I will start with a MCP. As time constraints dictate that I will be doing short-haul mostly, I am wondering if there are any plans to make a driver for the GoFlight MCP+EFIS for the 737NG(X)?

?I read a review on pcaviator.com mentioning that such a driver at least existed, but I can't seem to find any links etc now. Please forgive me if I have overlooked something obvious.

Thanks,

Pittsburgh

Hi Lefteris,

?I was under the impression that PMDG is making one (that was the impression I got from the web site yesterday). Maybe I misread the site, but it seems to me that a new version is underway specificially for FSX. Did I get that wrong?

Thanks,

Pittsburgh

Hello again- (should I call you Pittsburgh? :-))

I wouldn't presume to speak for PMDG and their future plans - for that, I believe their web site is best suited. What I can say, though, is that if and when they deliver a new NGX, Flight Sim Labs will be happy to discuss integration plans with them, should the need arise.

I do believe their development efforts are currently focused on the MD-11 though, so I would think their timeframes might be off to the more distant future.

Hi Lefteris,

?Lev would also be fine:-) Pittsburgh is a long storybiggrin.gif

?OK, I understand. I guess I let my knowledge of the past influence my questioning. Thanks for the prompt replies. I guess I will have to look at other options.

Thanks again, Lefteris.
