Advice Needed On Running Driver For Pmdg

Featured Replies

I would appreciate any advice with the installation of the MCPro driver for the PMDG747X. When I run the FSLabs setup, it seems to run okay. I see a FlightSimLabs folder in my Program Files and I see a FSLabs/addons folder in my FSX directory. I am assuming that means the setup program found FSX. However, when I run GoFlight config, there is no option for the PMDG. Should there be? The only options are: FS Default, Level D Simulations, Project Magenta and Compatible Add-On. I have tried all four options with the 747 at Athens (LGAV), but the MCPro does not respond. I cannot see that there are any changes to the PMDG747-400 folder nor to the GoFlight folder. What am I doing wrong? How does GoFlight recognize your dll? How do I run your driver? The set up program says to run the program by selecting an icon. I have no new icons on my descktop. I apologize for my ignorance, I just don’t know what I should be looking for. Can you help me?

I am running FSX SP2 on an XP-64 machine. FSX is on my D drive (D:/FSX). I have the PMDG747X and the MCPro installed and it is ver. A22.

Hello,

When you install the driver, you no longer need GoFlight config, other than to leave it in 'compatible addon' mode.

The FSLabs driver installs as an add-on, you can find it in the FSX menu, under 'Add-ons'.

Hope this helps!

I found it - thank you! That was about the only place I didn't look. It seems to work fine now.
