Yep and it is, but not officially. It still needs to get official updated.

Well, of course. The weather depiction is not the very best, but the atmosphere looks really good...

Indeed, the atmosphere and lighting is impressive. But the blurry, undefined clouds is something I haven't got use to yet.
And I thought that it's not recommended to turn on due to several bugs, errors and causes of CTDs, but I guess that's always going on... Most comments I've read suggested that it's better to turn off if you do "serious flying". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, but I might actually try it. Is it at least depicting the weather as injected by ActiveSky, or are the clouds just random on/off?

Well, no problems on my side with TE. There are only two bugs:

1. the flickering transition from the clouds to Buildings, Trees, Terrain, etc.

2. The weather always changes for the whole sky. So it won't happen, that you see clouds far away, and where you are the sky is clear. The weather where you currently are goes to the horizon.

The weather comes from ActiveSky, that works without problems.
I am flying with TE on since P3Dv5 came out - no, since the FSL for P3Dv5 came out - and I am quite happy with it...

So when you're flying from a cloudless sky into a thunderstorm-area, the clouds will suddenly pop in and you're surrounded by it?

Well, yes.

But I haven't tried it out yet... :D

Yeah, the other day on my Asiana flight, I had rather clear skies and then AS reloaded and suddenly the entire sky was covered by clouds. So that definitely needs some fixing. Think it was the same when REX initially released Environment Force. Changed entire weather rapidly, rather than slow transitions.
