Artur Araripe Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 Flying back to Helsinki, from Berlin-Tegel. The Office The view is unbeatable sometimes. Guess i'll die LOL Sam Chui flight report Which is cuter: CFM56 or the lady? Tough one Welcome to Rovaniemi 4
Artur Araripe Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Ivalo, with huge snow banks because someone forgot to disable the BGL Formation flight to EKCH, which was purely coincidental. Both taking the same flight, same airplane (OH-LVD), same flight level. He later on changed his to FL370 so that we could cruise together. It was all games and fun until the ATC made me slow down to mach .76 and watch my buddy disappear in the distance. Later on I got stuck in traffic and we could not cruise together during the flight back to Helsinki. He took off 30 minutes earlier. Either way, it was a pretty cool experience. TCAS screamed like mad and said sentences that i didn't even know the Airbus could "say". I had never ever triggered a warning like that before. We were pretty damn close to each other. Another one from the EFHK - EFIV - EFKT - EFHK hop, which I did last week. Snow didn't quite match the european heat wave but I didn't even mind. Finnair A320 + snow = best combo. They were made for each other! I can't wait for actual winter to test de-icing and stuff :) 2
