[Resolved] Spotlights not working since latest window update

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I along with a few others are having issues with spotlight not working in the A320 since the latest update of windows 10. the dome lights dont work at all and while on ground at night its nearly impossible to see what you are doing. is there a fix coming for this?

platform is P3Dv4.1

Kyle.

What have you done so far?

Have removed Spotlight, re downloaded and re installed latest version of Spotlight, still didn't work.

What about exceptions in your Windows Defender and Antivirus?

Sorry for delay, I fell asleep.  I’m not very computer savvy so I’m not sure I understand? I run P3D as admin. Antivirus I only use windows defender.

Because I'm such a caring person, here is a link which explains what I mean.

Spotlights also doesn't work for me. Tried adding the exeptions in Windows Defender, reinstalling, nothing works. Have opened a ticket with support but got no response since monday. Are there other things I could try to get it working? I have the latest windows version

I’ve already got an exception to that and it still doesn’t work.

Thanks to Norman, he solved it. make sure that the folder FlightSimLabs/LAAS is not hidden and add that to the exclusions thats what solved the issue. :)

The folder being hidden doesnt make any difference except of course if you cant see it you cant add an exception to it.

That’s what I meant. I didn’t know that one was hidden.

Yes that solved the problem for me as well. forgot to add a folder. all working now.
