Is it necessary to install Spotlights for full operational functionality (disregarding Spotlight features) of the A320?

I inadvertently forgot to download and install Spotlights.  I am not particularly interested in Spotlights and do not wish to install if it is not necessary.

If you only flew in daylight then I guess you could operate without but between dusk and dawn you would be missing out hugely without them.

i have spotlight uninstall because it does not work. During the new installation, the program that is already installed reports? What can i do? What must i be cancel?
