gf b747 interface will not install

i have fsx in windows 8.1 all service packs installed. i have pmdg b747-400QOTSII V3.00.8415. i have gf-mcp pro with gf-efis. config v 2.28.0.

i purchased the gf interface tool v.3.1.0.

it will not install

at first,it said it could not find fsx, so i ran the f1 registry tool

tried again, now it says this : pmdg 747-400x not found setup will end

it doesnt even offer me a way to direct the installer to the correct b747 directory path.

please help me to a solution. Thank you.
