Yannis Konstantinidis Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 hi all, last night fsx se crashed cause of spotlights, according to event logs. Almost after 2hrs of flight. attached is the log waiting for your advice, thank u in advance, Yannis spotlight crash.txt Quote
Lefteris Kalamaras Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Was FSX closing at the time? the DLL is showing that it was being unloaded. Quote
Yannis Konstantinidis Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 Hi Lefteri, no. It was during the flight. Fsx froze suddenly for 2-3 secs and then crashed Quote
Lefteris Kalamaras Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Well, keep an eye on it - I am thinking that something crashed FSX and it was trying to close - it wouldn't unload spotlights otherwise. Quote
Yannis Konstantinidis Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 Hi again, unfortunately it happened again. Same error. Same plane. It happened with the a2a c182. Exactly when I clicked on google chrome to check a map, fsx freeze, had sound for 5-10 seconds and then ctd. It only happens with this particular plane. Any advice plz? Quote
mcx1000 Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 (edited) I get the exact same crash after flying the PMDG 737 for a few hours. Edit: Moving the spotlight section in exe.xml above the FSL a320 sections cleared up my problem. Edited August 22, 2017 by mcx1000 new info Quote
Yannis Konstantinidis Posted October 12, 2017 Author Posted October 12, 2017 Hi again, after all this time without flying the A2a Cessna, I finally decided to try it again. But this time I had already uninstalled spotlights. Unfortunately, fsx:se was crashing again. I have tried 3-4 times, giving me the same crash report. Now (cause no more spotlights), the crash was because of the Fsloptions.dll was unloaded. I know the answer will be that something else causing it, but all the reports so far showing that it's something from the fslabs products. Anyway, plz kindly inform me if you think there is a solution. Quote
Lefteris Kalamaras Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 You are seeing a crash when a dll is being unloaded. This points to fsx already having started to close, thus something else is causing this unfortunately. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk Quote
