Guilhermme Antonio Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Hello everyone at fslabs, it's great to have voices in msfs! I want to buy the a321neo, but a friend of mine who has the 321ceo told me that he can't use it with the VR glasses or Quest3! So before I buy it, I want to know if this is a known problem for you! It's the 321neo and it's compatible with Quest3. Thank you very much. Quote
Guilhermme Antonio Posted June 20 Author Posted June 20 Well said, Luck Hall! I’m not looking for liveries or anything like that — what I really want is feedback from users who have already purchased the products for MSFS. I’m personally unsure if the product is compatible with the Quest3 VR headset. So far, no responses! I’ve already opened a ticket, and just now I started a topic here on the forum. Later on, I also asked in existing threads. I’ve been a long-time FSLabs customer, but their support has been disappointing. I remember it used to be quite similar in the past. Seems like time has passed, but things haven’t changed. Sorry for the rant. Quote
Norman Blackburn Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Whilst some of us on the team have VR, my understanding is that none of us have the Quest 3 the same as you. 1 Quote
Guilhermme Antonio Posted June 20 Author Posted June 20 I don't understand! If I'm asking about compatibility with the VR Quest, it's because I have one and use it in my daily life! And if it's compatible with the VR, I'll buy it, if not, I'll wait for a compatible one to come out. Quote
Norman Blackburn Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Hi Guilhermme, You have a VR Quest. We do not. How are we able to say if it is compatable with it? Does the product work in VR - a few of us have used it and it has worked but does that mean it works the same way as you want it to be - I simply don't know! There may however be other users of it here. 1 Quote

I cant go into great detail as I'm mainly using my crystal light. And you may not need VD but that's what was fine with me. So why I mentioned it Regards 1 Quote
Guilhermme Antonio Posted June 20 Author Posted June 20 Hello @Stuart Sheppard, so a friend of mine bought the 321ceo and when he installs the 321ceo, he can't open it, and not only him, but all the other planes, that is, the glasses stop working because of an error in OpenXR. That's why I have a question. With Crystal, don't you use OpenXR? Quote

Scott Harmes Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I also use the A321 CEO in VR (Pimax Crystal) and have done so successfully since release. I haven't tried the NEO in VR yet, but I can't imagine it will work any differently in VR than the CEO. The Crystal uses Pimax XR, but it can also use OpenXR or Steam VR in MSFS. Quote
Ahmad Hajjo Posted June 21 Posted June 21 I have the Neo and use it Only in VR with Quest 3 with no problems. I Only hope fsl will update in the future for better performance 1 Quote
Alfredo Terrero Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Flown the CEO with steamvr (valve index) and works great. Quote

Lefteris Kalamaras Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Hello guys- check to see if you have the OpenXR-Toolkit installed in your Windows apps. Apparently, it's installed as part of some VR headset software companions (Thanks @Alessandro Spigolon for the find). As soon as I installed that, my VR stopped working properly. Once I removed it, my VR worked fine again. From the OpenXR-Toolkit web site: AS OF 2024, SUPPORT FOR OPENXR TOOLKIT IS DISCONTINUED. THERE IS NO NEW DEVELOPMENT AND NO TECH SUPPORT OF ANY SORT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT RECOMMEND TO INSTALL/USE OPENXR TOOLKIT, AS IT IS KNOWN TO CAUSE ISSUES WITH MANY OF THE NEWER GAMES RELEASED IN SINCE 2024. Quote

Ben Lim Posted June 25 Posted June 25 What’s the best way setup the Quest controllers with the A321neo? i remember reading that in MSFS 2024 you can’t use the controller hatswitch to rotate knobs which is strange. Quote

I can't use OpenXR with the FSLabs installed. I reinstalled MSFS, Windows to make sure I followed the same sequence. New install + PimaxPlay + OpenXR toolkit = will not load. I figure the the OpenXR is what the problem is... Uninstalling the FSL CC solved this. Now I'm met with the difficult decision of OpenXR vs having FSL! Edited June 28 by JAMALJE BASSUE Update Quote
Lefteris Kalamaras Posted June 28 Posted June 28 Please look at my reply above and check if you have OpenXR Toolkit installed. If so, uninstall it and things should go back to normal. That software is outdated and should no longer be used, according to its own developer. Quote

It's the only way many of us (majority of VR users) are able to enjoy VR even though it is now unsupported. Sad that both can't work together. I guess I'm out of luck guys, enjoy your A32X I'll watch from the sidelines! Quote
paolo pini Posted June 29 Posted June 29 I also have another problem with the 321neo. I use pimax crystal and it can happen that I have to restart the pimax software but only with the 321 every time I do it, it sends the whole sim to ctd, sometimes even the pc. I use practically every plane of flight simulator pay and only with this one it happens. Quote

paolo pini Posted June 30 Posted June 30 I would like to add that I do not use openxr toolkit but the pimax system itself. I tried again with fenix and ifly which have external tools but with them, even if I restart the pimax play software, nothing happens while with fslabs if I do it, either pimax play stops working not restarting the vr anymore, or it blocks the whole simulator up to the ctd sending vram and gpu into 100% overload Quote
Lefteris Kalamaras Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Paolo- do me a favor and check if it's installed in your system - Windows Settings -> Installed Apps. Quote

Lefteris Kalamaras Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Paolo, can you open a ticket with support@flightsimlabs.com - I'd love to take a look at the Pimax software. I don't know how much we can do, but we can give it a try. (We've already tried communicating with them - the level of interest on their support team is... oh well.) 1 Quote

(Abbiamo già provato a comunicare con loro: il livello di interesse del loro team di supporto è... vabbè.) yes of course and thank you for the support. unfortunately pimax play is really bad as a software, pimax support is even worse. while we are at it, I would also like to point out that always in vr, the mouse pointer is offset compared to some keys on the overhead and on the fmc, through fslabs software I tried to change the clickspots but without results. 1 Quote
