Can ATC MSG button be assigned?

The CPDLC ATC MSG button is often not in view.  But when it starts chirping it has to be cancelled.

Was hoping I could assign a joystick button or keyboard key to do it.  Has anyone found a way?

While it can be assigned via a rotorbrake code to be pushed, the rotorbrake responsible to release the button doesn't seem to work (and for some reason I never got a macro to work on it). So, unfortunately, if you press the bind you assign, it'll stay depressed until you click on it in the VC.

Thanks Alexandre.  I'll go look again at the tutorial you posted in '19. (

Once the button is pushed and stays stuck in, does it then cancel all subsequent alert chirps?
