CH Pro Pedals Rudder Problem

I have used the CH Pro Pedals for years without problems. Recently, however, I have jitters that make the rudder oscillate. It shows up in FSUIPC although I don't use that to assign and axis or calibrate. Also, the rudder will not hold deflection, snapping back to center immediately even with the pedal depressed.  If I calibrate with the CH app or Win 10, it sometimes corrects itself and sometimes not.  Any ideas?

Maybe they're giving up now seeing as you used them for years.

If reinstalling drivers and/or recalibrating does not help I would come to that conclusion.

I'm incidentally returning my Thrustmaster TCA stick for the same reason, it spikes on the rudder

and that creates problems.

Check if you have any other joystick axis assigned to the rudder somewhere.

It really sounds like your sensor for the rudder axis has gone bad. Not surprising really knowing how old CH Pro rudder pedals are. In those days they did not have hall sensors, so their lifetime is finite.
