They updated their Facebook page yesterday with a picture of the A319 so you know it’s getting close.

As promised, some shots of our A319-X in P3D v5:

Hi Adrian, The A319 update is in the final stages of testing. We will share more news and previews next week.

We’re not waiting on LM. Once we’re ready, we’ll pull the ‘remove before flight’ pins and she’s all yours.

Has FSL said if they're waiting for 5.1 to drop, which should be soon? I'd hate to have to wait for another patch for compatibility soon after the 319 comes out.

yup but when you go into the A319 category it says:

These are only suitable for build up to v2.0.1.267 Also know as v1

These were for the non PBR A319-X.  They will not work with PBR enabled models.

New uploads are no longer permitted in this area.

@Norman Blackburn the FBI is back!
We found an irregularity in the text of the A319 v2 category.
It says:

A319-X Liveries

Community created aircraft repaints for our A320-X are found here.

These are only suitable for build from v2.0.2.300 Also know as v2

These were for the non PBR A320-X.  They will not work with PBR enabled models.

With kind regards from Quantico

I think every day is useful for this update because I think it's been a bit too long since the last update for P3Dv5 came out

-_-

Should be really soon, judging by the streaming and the screenshots we're now seeing :)

Americans are special with their units. I m surprised they haven't anything for the time?

Imagine a world where cockpits would use metric units. Where speed and altitude would be based on the same unit, meters. No more silly rules of thumb to calculate descents....

How else would you calculate your descents then? Guessing?

Obviously not but without the foot to nm/kts conversions it would be more straightforward imo.

Like, you go 600 km/h, are 10 000m high, going down 500m/min. Your airport is 300km away. You instantly see that it will take half an hour to get there but you need to ease your descent because you'll also reach the ground in 20 minutes.

It's not as straightforward with the ICAO units I think. But feel free to disagree!

Yes that right it was at Cosford.  1 year and 1 week ago.  Its getting so close to two years already.  Luckily in that time there have been numerous updates - all for free - of existing products to avail of, including P3D updating to a brand new version.

There was not ill will in my statement.  COVID has apparently caused me to lose the perception of time.  Or, it was the mere number posts associated with that topic in this forum.  But you somewhat make my points.  You showed a preview for something that hasn't been released over a year ago.  HAHA  It appears that the humor in my statement was lost on you.  :)  Would you like to see my virtual airline log book to prove to you my appreciation for your products, or will you just take my word?

Nobody suggested there was.  I lose track of time due to covid too  We would prefer to give people updates so that they can use their current products in their sim - even when it changed a whole version.   Your preference to not have those updated and working until the Sharklets were ready is noted.
