As far as I understood, Andrew, Dean and Markus already use the "were rebuild/were done completely new,.." phrases..
That means a lot! :o

Tbh: I really don´t care what ever v5 has to offer itself. My P3D v4.5 HF3 looks stunning. All I want is my Flight Sim Labs Airbus and all the coming stuff. It that means I need to update to v5, I will do so but until there is neither a hotfix for the known issues nor I need to to upgrade for coming stuff, I stay where I am for now :)
If I want to become a beta tester for a product, I apply. LM should really address that for the future..

The updates are coming for V4.5 and V5 at the same time as far as we are aware. You won’t need to upgrade to V5 at least for the S8 and sharklet updates. For the future nobody knows but I expect them to support both 4.5HF3 and version 5 going forward.

... if you have 8GB on your video card, you should be fine.

Yes. I have an 8GB video card, however when I put my settings back to V4 settings, then apply the enhanced atmospherics at low resolution, I run out of VRAM. But it's kind of funny how I can put my settings all the way to the right, turn the atmospherics off, and no problem with VRAM.

Are you on the latest drivers @Brian McCumiskey as a few people reported that this fixed many VRAM issues?

Yes. I'm on the latest drivers and am on Windows 2004

Hi Brian, I think this might be the bug we are waiting for a hotfix for next week, it doesn't seem to be all systems but some report high VRAM usage with TrueSky.

Hopefully they will fix this next week, it's good that with it disable your VRAM is ok though as some have struggled with this :)

LED is only on the sharks.

We've reworked a lot of the night lighting - added some new immersive features which look great in v5.

Please, make the cockpit knob lights more orange!!

i'm using the same settings as v4. not a single out of vram error. it doesn't help they ram up the settings & clog it with planes that don't work with v5 properly.

Yes same experience here no problem with VRAM, just use common sense... Can't wait for the bus in V5

a 6gb card is very easy to get a dxgi device hung error. 2K textures, enhanced atmospherics, FT EKCH, Active sky and a B747-8. i am planning a gpu upgrade when it is possible.

probably putting my life to risk by asking this, but:  is there any news, any rough timeline on when we can expect our beloved Bus in V5?

I understand that they are testing and that V5 cause a lot of changes to be done.

But guys, i cant wait anymore. Only taking out the QWs and PMDGs is not enough once you experienced the perfection of an FSLabs.....
