The hotfix announcement is from Lockheed Martin themselves. But by no means officially set in stone

The newer pop up size will likely match because you have the dcdu pop up as well which is above the mcdu.

If you set that airframe to have a DCDU or not, I should imagine. I think Andrew said it would be an airframe option somewhere.

But the pop up size could still be the same with or without the dcdu.

Man, I don‘t think I ever waited so desperately for a Hotfix to a product I don‘t even own. :D

Most probably less than 48 hours to go. You never know FSL might only take a couple of days after that to release the update. If we are lucky we could be flying the a320 in v5 this weekend.

Would there be a possibility to allow users to reskin the EFB when sharklets release? Some airlines use a Panasonic one & it would be cool to allow artists to edit them with their liveries etc?

I'm really hoping FSL fixed the battery charging bug with the A321 in this update, its getting really annoying replacing the batteries every flight and expensive too.

As I´ve seen some photos of sharklets - I thought of posting my own to keep the hype alive on these beauties! Already had the chance to fly on 5 sharklet busses..

So LK mentioned that the sharklets will be at an attractive price. Seeing as this thread as actually returned to sharklets. I'm going for £30. What's all your guesses?

Attractive compared to having 4 airframes. Inline with current pricing maybe a bit cheaper.

Hey guys ,

I guess many people have asked this question probably a million times but i still insist on asking, when can we expect the new version for V4.5?

With LM stating that the update was coming early this week, we can assume the bus will follow.  Let hope.

Yeah I hope we don't have to wait weeks after the HF releases. The extra time for the HF should give FSL some time for big squashing.

What we really need is sharklets but what we really WANT is NEO power!

No, I think if you took a poll for next FSL release and Gabe two options, NEO vs A330, A330 would be the fat kid on the seesaw.

I'm sure that FSLabs will do a bit more testing to ensure everything runs smoothly before releasing it. I can't imagine it'll be a long wait though :)

For what it's worth, PMDG have posted an update suggesting that there will be a 4-14 day update window for their 747 and 737, as HF2 has a number of dynamic light changes that they need to make adjustments for.

If you read the statement it makes total sense.

1. check between developers what needs to be fixed (this one depends if there are a lot of things to change)

2. after that send the RTM candidate to Beta testers, they say it should last between 4-14 days. Now, if the beta testers find anything wrong you start again.

Let´s give the developers the proper time and let them do their work.

Oh, I'm in full support of developers in this case. Sorry if that wasn't clear :)

Give it another 1-2 weeks I bet.

They need to let beta testers make sure HF2 didnt break anything.
