Are you finally adding a flight attendant who can serve coffee?

My wife is kind of tired of me saying: “Can you make coffee? I’m flying online and shouldn’t leave the PC.”

if anything, please finally replace that old, half peeled off life vest sticker on the cpt chair. I paid good money for a high end modern airliner and then this.... inacceptable.

:D ;)

It looks cool, I give you that. But it makes an annoying farting sound when a/c is on high...

Well, the A320-X is from an old MSN range, therefore, the planes should be  quite battered and worn, with stains everywhere, stickers peeling off. I would say add more battering. Stains on carpet, on seat, greasy throttles and screens.

Where would I even start? If we were to do an EIS1 A320, we'd obviously not do the most modern version of it, as this would present users with rather little difference to what we have right now, besides the screens looking "round" with some analogue gauges next to it. Of course major components such as the FMGC would already be substantially different when looked at the level that we do. But to make an interesting case for a new add-on, it would need to be a very early model of A320, think 89 vintage and such, those with no GPS equipment on board (Lufthansa still flew them around Europe up until the global shutdown came along). And as such, all systems would need major re-work to end up with a depth and accuracy our customers expect from us.

So sadly no, it will not happen.

I have no issue seeing why this will not happen, but how fun it would have been. I recently watch the ITVV A320 videos (one in the simulator and one Inter European to Greece from the UK and back) and the first thing that struck me was all the big and small differences between what we fly today and what was hot and new in a A320 in the early 90's. Heck TCAS wasn't really a thing in everyday use yet.

I promise, If i ever get famous and rich (billionaire or something), i'll pay FSL to make an EIS1 A320 for us. Free of charge for A320-x owners.

Something like 15 million usd :P:P

Please, if ever you consider updating textures to 4K, do so while considering your broad spectrum of users and offer options with reduced resolution so it doesn’t eat up VRAM.

Yeah lets upgrade stuff to 4k so we can have VRAM errors in V5 & stuttering galore in V4 because that's what we need.

I think each day it becomes more apparent they are likely waiting until HF2 for v5. I think if everyone was still on v4.5 we would have had this already. Me thinks mid June at the earliest.

If so, I want you to think of someone who is using 4.5.

Getting annoyed at the unknown doesn’t do anyone any favours.

If the hotfix was the reason for the wait, why would FSLabs lift the NDA? Why would they allow testers to go public with the updates in streams on a platform that isn’t compatible?

As a v5 user with v4.5 also installed, I have absolutely no issue with the time it’s taking for an update to be released. I want something that doesn’t have faults rather than one that is rushed to release.

They might have been surprised by it or the LM timeline...

I would imagine they would say something if that's the case. I mean i know they do not discuss timelines but i think they would make exceptions in cases where something unforeseen happens.

I mean, we're still talking about a free update. They are not making any direct revenue from it. So I could imagine their biggest interest is to provide a fully tested update with the least amount of inconvenience for us and them, rather than a quick release to earn money. Releasing a tested update, just to go through the whole testing process again 2 weeks later when HF2 drops seems a little inconvenient to me. I mean, I'd be happy if the do, but then it will be another compatibility update after HF2 before the Sharklets arrive...

... OR......  the Sharklets arrive together with a HF2-compatibility update :D

but yeah, I could also be totally wrong after all.... :)

I'm assuming FSL is squashing last minute bugs before release otherwise they may be waiting for HF2.

It would be nice (if they are waiting for the hotfix) if FSL could state their intentions to put us all at ease.
