5.1 is where it's at.

I agree. 5.1 is when I plan to start using v5. By then most add-ons will be working and bugs ironed out.

yet we have to see any proof for a HF2 to be coming out any time soon.

all we have are 2 posts on avsim forum from people not working for LM that mentioned it, but not a single reliable announcement of another Hotfix to be coming soon.

Yeah, okay... trust me when I say it's coming soon

Agree....If we had to wait for HF every time they have some issue....we would be waiting for Bill Gates to fix FSX....

I'm not convinced about HF2 for V5 coming out anytime soon either! Even more so when you look at the sources!

I just hope for those on v4.5 they don't require HF3 because I know I and others have stuck with HF2 as HF3 cause some unwanted issues.

I think I remember reading something that we’re good. HF3 didn’t really bring anything as a must have. Still running HF2 here also and have no issues at all.

It could be slow because they may be uploading the new update to the site, don't forget this is a major update so it will be big.

Marc, come on.

You've been on this site for years, and have been very visible during previous releases. You know that's not a sign.

It'll be time when they announce it. All this guesswork about when that might be, reading into things that are inconsequential, is just a silly waste of time and energy.

Fly something else while you wait, and get excited when it happens.

Haha, exactly.

The lovely folk on this thread thought that it was a sign it would be released imminently.

24 hours later and there's no release :D

Would make sense if another p3d HF is releasing today, HIFI just said on their forums that there is a new ASP3D beta build coming in a day or two. Also the main admin on the p3d forums has spoken the words 'next p3d hotfix' twice today lol.

I love full reinstalls!! I also do it for testing purposes, without leaving any trace of the old install.

Actually, by doing that I have discovered that p3dv5 is so good at performance that I removed the overclock in my 9700k and still my fps and stutter-free experience hasn´t been affected.

Apart from all the AppData folders etc. do you delete every P3D related registry as well?

They are probably still working on release candidates. A new build was just pushed right before the streamer above is about to takeoff so they are still in the testing phase for sure.

and possibly waiting for the next Hotfix. Each day that goes by kinda leads me to think that.

Yes, I also check that no regedit entry has been left behind.

Do you also remove all the tire marks from the runways?

Or are all your landings soft enough?

Seems the stream is going good so far. Hopefully this is the release build or not far from the final build.
