Yeah I am sure it will be lower VRAM  but people will have to wait until its out to test those lower end cards.

Hello guys, I appreciate all of the hype going on already and I am super excited to see all the anticipation reaching amazing levels! In fact, I wanted to share that, while we don't expect t

Hi all – As Lefteris commented on, one of my favourite areas of the updated models, besides the PBR, is the cabin windows. Each window has now been remodelled in detail - and we've also modelled

I've elected to stay away from this until now as it gives people an opportunity to joke around, vent their frustrations on a "perceived delay" of our release (even though I've explained the reasons be

No surprise but blackbox is on a 2080ti so he has room to breathe. A 6gb card is the real test I feel. And I suspect that will hit around 4gb of vram in the sim at egll perhaps.

Airbus FTW is running 1080p with the typical addons and at Heathrow and runs 5.4. This seems more legit for the typical user. But yes seems like if you have an 8GB+ card you'll be fine

Yeah I think the 8gb cards will be the norm for V5+ into the future. I think to try and optimize for 6gb cards will make things harder for devs all around. Its not just LM, but FSLABS,Scenery devs etc will all have to work to optimize things. I hope the 3080/3080ti bring 16+gb of vram. I plan to upgrade even from a 2080ti to lessen the chance of running out

Yeah the 3000 cards should be beefy. Apparently cheaper than the 2000 series aswell

Yeah luckily I will be able to sell the 2080ti to help with a new card when they drop.

Welp I will be back in a few months. The Sharklets arent even in V5 yet. Will be a good while I bet.

No, it’s a temporary measure whilst LM fix it.

So now that the NDA has been lifted and they have already had it for a bit and only showing it now, airbusftw already has found a few bugs today while flying it, we must be very very close to release for the public.

PBR on the outside looks nice of course but we’re so used to it in the sim by now.

Were there any significant changes on the inside that I missed? While high rez, it still just looks... a bit cartoonish

Hopefully FSLabs offer PBR cockpits with the new releases.

Yeah, a full PBR cockpit is the only glaring thing missing from this excellent aircraft imo.

But also decreases performance certainly on lower end system of the fslabs spectrum. It is a compromise.

For various reasons, we are not adding PBR to the VC at this point in time.

I think the cockpit is good where it is. Systems itself and everything involved bring it to what it is. Don't know why people are picking at something that does not need to be picked at.

Now that this is out are we gonna see it release today or does this mean nothing.

If I remember correctly, in the past Spotlights and the aircraft(s) were updated on the same day. But, it also happened where it didn't mean anything.

I take it this soon to release update will also support 4.5 users? Must be tricky for FSLabs to now support both 4.5 and 5.

It is not picking when you really think about it... Just pointing out areas where there is room for improvement. Totally acceptable to me.

I installed v4 last night because I couldn't take it no more, literally uninstalling it now, once you've gone v5 you can't go back :)
