Mouse Macros P3D v4

Hello everyone,

I'm currently trying to get my VrInsight CDU work with our favorite A320 but I have some difficulties. I have seen some posts on the forum but they are old and often not answered.

I tried to do that with mouse macros but MCDU buttons are locked down when I push them via the hardware, I can only click one time on them... I also tried to assign the same action when the button is released to unlock it but in vain.

So mouse macros seems not to be the best way. Did you found a solution or any alternative ? Did I missed something ? It's a bit frustrating not to be able to use such a hardware with this aircraft.. !

I'm using the Vrinsight CDU with mouse macros

You must edit your macro file.

This is an example:

1=DIR
1.1=RX1400081,3
1.2=RX1400081,13

1.1 is for pressing the button

1.2 is for leaving the button

You can edit the file, save and tryit.

Hi Miguel !

It's working now ! Thank you so much.

I just have few questions, cause I was testing the mouse macro with the keyboards, not with the MCDU yet.

How do you assign the macro to the CDU II ? I have assign a keyboard combination to the maccro and then the keyboard combination to the CDU button via the keymapper but, doing this, I have to assign to all MCDU buttons a keyboard ombination...

Is there a way to directly assign the macro in the keymapper ? I can't find the ID (5 digits) requiered...

Hi Miguel,

Quite interested on other component of the same vendor, the FCU. I have just two questions:

1) What kind of event do you have once press a key on the CDU? A button as in a common joypad or something other?

2) Did you get the display working? Or is just limited to the keys?

Thanks

Raffaele
