Hello,

I am writing to you because of a Flap problem on Fslabs aircrafts used with the Recorder of our virtual airlines. The issue is the following, we get penalties each time we performe a takeoff, the Recorder is recognizing a wrong TO flap configuration and it is the same with all flaps configuration from 1 to 4. As you haven’t used standard flap offset our Recorder gives always a flaps 0 position. Instead the standard offset you have used LVAR and we have to know which local variable you used in order to fix this issue on our Recorder. Could we please get some informations about that LVAR that will be very helpful.

We really appreciate your products and we are looking forward for new updates and aircrafts. We would like to thank you for your help as we are waiting on your reply.

Best Regards

Dear Bedran,

we don't officially supply such information yet - we're working (seems it's taking too long - sorry)  on an SDK for these items however, so once that's out, you'll have more information at your disposal.

Mr. Kalamaras,

I understand thank you for your attention. Do you have a temporary solution or an advice for us ?

I think that there are several technically savvy users out there who've looked at the models to figure out what L variables to use - but I am not sure where to point you, to be honest...

Ok I see, and are those users in the fslab forum or you are mining external ? Should I ask on the forum more specifically ?

What exactly do you mean with that?

Answered via PM.

And also hope that the SDK will one day be released.

But I also fear that we have to pay a price for it (that is why the wouldn't help to solve such answers). We will see ...

Our virtual airlines Recorder dose only recognize the standard offsets, but Fslabs is using local variables and the flap configuration is always 0 for the FDR and than we get penalities for that. If we know were and which Lvar is set for the flap we can make the Recorder recognize it. I am not a specialist I don’t no really how it’s working. I have been charged by our admin to find the Lvar for the flaps, which Lvar is used. I hope that someone in the forum is able to give this information.

thanks for the help
