UPDATE: Available at http://wabpro.cz/A320/ Hey everyone, I am planning to publish my take-off performance calculation website in a few days. Figures are based on FCOM performance charts. Basically it downloads the current metar, finds the MTOW for current conditions. Once you enter your actual take-off weight, it calculates FLEX temp and V speeds for you. Let me know if you can think of something useful to be included so I consider adding extra things before I publish the website. Also, if any of you has access to real life take-off performance software, please let me know so I can verify I few assumptions I have having read the FCOM...
Did a flight in the bus from KIAH to KJFK and back, both legs around 3 hours. Haven't flown the IAE in a while, I'm more a CFM guy really forgot how quickly the IAE get's away from u during taxi. Flight went amazing, until I got the the descent into KIAH on the way back, was planning the MCDU when I got a master caution with the message: FUEL L OUTER TK HI TEMP. Something I did not expect in any way. I check the fuel page, and indeed L OUTER TK had a temp of 56 degrees, which is high, but not enough to disconnect the IDG, I did however ended up turning off GEN 1, compensated by using the APU during descent and landing. Absolutely loved the little curveball that the bus threw at me! Really involves you with what is happening instead of just sticking the autopilot in and leaving for 3 hours. Here are some pictures: Arrival into JFK Taking on fuel for the flight back to KIAH 50 min later and off she is again FUEL L OUTER TK HI TEMP Ecam actions complete Back at KIAH, left the flaps in 1+F due to the 32 degrees outside
Hello Guys, I recently just bought this program that seems to be helping. Here you have a new tool that is $5.00 on Simmarket that is compatible with the FSLabs A320. I think it might help everyone out so i thought i'd share it here just in case nobody knew about it. http://secure.simmarket.com/tops-takeoff-performance-system-fsx-p3d.phtml
