    2D Cockpit Few Issues

Hello, i have been enjoying the latest update, however, i have noticed that when the dome lights are off, the 2d panel of the pedestal do not have any light illumination although the knob is fully turned clockwise. the pedestal in VC is illuminated normally. the second issue i have noticed that the plate that has flaps and landing gear max permissible extension speeds etc is hard to be read in night time in the 2d main panel. I hope the team looking into these issues. thanks

    FSLspotlights with 2D panels ?

Hi ! Probably a stupid question, but just to stay on the safe side : If we choose to install ONLY the 2D panels, as I do, do we need to install FSLspotlight ? Or is it useful just with the 3D panels ? Thanks a lot and sorry if the question was too dumb Florent

    Performance: 2d vs 3d cockpit...

Well, to start I am not ( yet ) and FSLabs user. I actually haven't even installed FSX:SE again and am awaiting the release of the P3D version to read user comments and decide what to do ... My system is rather mid-low level ( i5 2500 @ 3,3 GHz from 2011 ) and although I have 16 GB DDR3 RAM and a GTX 960 4GB GDDR5 graphics card, I think I will have to be cautious with my install... My FSX is FSX:SE 1) I have the dx10 fixer, so, I believe I should always install it even if I do not plan to use ANY of the fancy graphics ( shadows et al... ), because I read that it is lighter on VAS... Can you guys confirm this ? 2) I don't mind running the Airbus in 2d panel mode, and I actually thought this was the lighter way, but yesterday I read somewhere that severe FPS degradation could result from undocking instruments in 2d panel and specially when resizing them ? Is this true ? Should I then opt for the 3d panel instead ? 3) Windowed vs Full Screen mode is the other problem I have. I read that windowed performs better, but I always experienced better performance when running FSX:SE in full screen mode, using VSync ( 1/ 2 ) ... so, I really don't know what to think about this windowed vs full screen ... optimization. What can you had to my doubts :-) ?

    Problems when resizing undocked windows

Hi ! First of all, congratulations for the hard work. The 320X looks great, however I do have some troubles with the 2D cockpit. Wanting to keep the FPS as high as possible (or in that case not too low) and trying to build a cockpit trainer with a touchscreen, the 2D cockpit only option seemed great at first. But when I try to undock a panel like the overhead, as soon as I try to resize it, the mouse cursor starts to flash between the regular cursor and the busy blue circle. The fps drop, and then most the time the sim crashs. I have tried multiple times, always with the same results. Looks like I really can't resize an undocked window. I then tried to go with the 3D virtual cockpit, uninstalling and reinstalling the product. I then faced another trouble : a not enough memory and then FSX closes... The ONLY way for me to be able to launch FSX with the A320 is to use only monitor. If I use my 2 monitors linked as one with AMD Eyefinity, FSX tells me that I don't have enough memory. I don't understand why, because I'm using nearly daily a 3 monitors setup with the PMDG 737NG without ANY trouble. My config : i5 2500K at 4.2 GHz 8Go RAM Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition (3 Go RAM onboard) I have just some airports installed, and OrbX Global. Would a fresh FSX install help ? Thanks a lot for your assistance, Florent
