Hello, I feel silly asking this, but I really can't find the answer anywhere. I'm building oy own MCDU, and I am a bit confused on how to get the MCDU screen onto my external display. I have the screen working correctly and set up in windows etc. I just can't for the life of me work out how to get the 2D panel to pop out as just the screen, and not the whole MCDU. I've searched this forum and have seen plenty of people talking about it, and even seeen a screenshot or two, but havent been able to find out HOW to do it. Is there a better way to be doing it, I just assumed that undocking and dragging it to the external monitor would be fine? Thanks in advance!
First of all, apologies if this is the wrong section to post. Please feel free to move the post, if necessary. I was looking to purchase this radio stack from Saitek (http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod-bak/radio.html). However it's not clear to me if it has compatibility issues with the FSL A320. There is an old post on this forum, here However it got no answer, so it's not helpful. Could anyone shed some light? Thank you.
Well, to start I am not ( yet ) and FSLabs user. I actually haven't even installed FSX:SE again and am awaiting the release of the P3D version to read user comments and decide what to do ... My system is rather mid-low level ( i5 2500 @ 3,3 GHz from 2011 ) and although I have 16 GB DDR3 RAM and a GTX 960 4GB GDDR5 graphics card, I think I will have to be cautious with my install... My FSX is FSX:SE 1) I have the dx10 fixer, so, I believe I should always install it even if I do not plan to use ANY of the fancy graphics ( shadows et al... ), because I read that it is lighter on VAS... Can you guys confirm this ? 2) I don't mind running the Airbus in 2d panel mode, and I actually thought this was the lighter way, but yesterday I read somewhere that severe FPS degradation could result from undocking instruments in 2d panel and specially when resizing them ? Is this true ? Should I then opt for the 3d panel instead ? 3) Windowed vs Full Screen mode is the other problem I have. I read that windowed performs better, but I always experienced better performance when running FSX:SE in full screen mode, using VSync ( 1/ 2 ) ... so, I really don't know what to think about this windowed vs full screen ... optimization. What can you had to my doubts :-) ?
Hey Guys: First of all I love this add-on! I had a version of Concorde for FS2004 and loved every bit of it - when I saw Concorde-X I just had to get it! One little problem though - I'm struggling to read the labels on the 2D panel switches. In Concorde Professional (I think Justflight made it?) for FS2004 all the 2d panels could be opened fullscreen: is there a way to (quickly) do that in FSX with Concorde-X? Many thanks in anticipation
