    Approach and ILS

Don't know what's going on but the last couple of days the strangest thing happens - Intercept ILS LOC and stable approach Intercept ILS GS and for a while stable descent Then suddenly the aircraft starts to turn right, losing the LOC, it then turns left again and the whole ILS approach becomes an abortus Disconnect AP and manually fly the aircraft In all instances the ILS freq is tuned correctly. LOC & GS are intercepted. Nothing else changes and no other input was given. Does anyone have an idea what causes this anomaly to happen? Regards Terblanche

ILS Radio stuck on VOR frequency

Okay, so here goes my first real problem with the Bus, on my last two fligths i cant get the ils to tune to the active frequency, its basically stuck on previous VOR freq, and no matter what i did i cant get it to lock onto the ILS which is set in FMS under the NAV/RAD page, i can provide a screenshot of a flight i did earlier today, and you can clearly see that on the nav and rad page i had uned the OSB/108.70 and the PFD was showing ZWN/114.80 which was the VIA on the selected STAR.. Of course i did manage to land by hand without ils, but i have to ask for help in resolving this issue, i attached a screenshot below. Thnx in advance

    LOC capture phenomenon

I observed the following consistently when flying into EDDF, 07R with ILS guidance: The ILS diamonds are visible and the machine is exactly on the slope; notwithstanding, the armed LOC never goes to the LOC captured mode, neither does the armed APPROACH (GS+LOC) mode; the machine continues to fly down until she meets the ALT constraint and then levels off (of course, since she did not lock onto the G/S). HOWEVER, if i shortly disengage the AP and waggle the hdg a bit around (I leave the LOC slightly to the left, then to the right), then reengage AP and LOC the LOC is captured (and so is the GS). Could lock onto the Glideslope that way both by shortly flying manual without AP and reengaging it, and by shortly changine the HDG - it seems as if the machine does not capture the LOC if it is already centered. Any ideas about a possible reason? It can of course be a defective keyboard controller (that would be me) - but I can currently not think of a good reason it would capture only if it is off, and not if it is already centered. Any insight welcome! Cheers, Harry
  4. Hello guys, http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/a318-makes-mark-at-london-city-206788/ Don't you think that could be an amazing feature that FSL could do if they'll develop an A318. Regards.
