Hello everyone, I am happy to announce that our latest updates (v5.0.1.103) for the A320-X and A321-X are now live and available through our download page. This is the first update that makes the A321-X compatible with P3D v5, which brings significant improvements in performance, as well as several updates and fixes to the base code. In this update, you will find external model PBR texturing for the A321-X was updated to bring it up to v5 standards, adding several improvements which follow the A320-X update, such as dynamic cabin window blinds logic, newly tuned dynamic lights, effects and splashes, overlays redone using PBR techniques, contrail fixes for P3D v5 and other small cosmetic fixes which add to the immersion. We also added several fixes to the code, such as cockpit door open/close logic for the various panel states (Cold & Dark, On APU, On GPU, Engines Running), a fix to the VOR Radios logic to not show radials when an ILS frequency is tuned, logic fixes to the FWC EMER CANC button functionality and other small updates. As usual, you will find the complete list of updates at the end of this note. Something else I'd like to discuss here is that we have been receiving several queries from our customers regarding our upcoming plans and I'd like to assure everyone that we will continue to support our current product line into the future, as per our April roadmap. This means that after today's A321-X update release, the plan continues to be a release of the A319-X for P3D v5, then the Sharklets. Regarding MS Flight Simulator, while I cannot divulge any information as there are several NDAs in place, we have been carefully aligning our business to explore all possibilities the new sim will allow. What I can announce today, however, is that we are very excited to be opening invitations to interview additional developers to allow for faster and more streamlined development of our products, current and upcoming. We will be adding positions for C++/C# developers, as well as 3D modelers so if you love aviation, have the requisite experience and want to join our development team, please read this job posting and apply! Here's a more complete list of the improvements and updates that are part of this release: First release of the A321-X for Prepar3D v5 (v5.0 HF2 required) Weight and balance now set properly in P3Dv5 CIDS Cabin blinds logic save/load improvements Cabin blinds logic tweaked for hot wx Effects Contrail tweaks FWC EMER CANC now cancels audible OVERSPEED and C CHORD (ALT ALERT) properly Lights Several light fixes for P3Dv4/P3Dv5 Radios VOR tuning in ILS frequencies no longer shows needles on ND As always, and as a way of saying thank you very much for your continued support, I've added a few screenshots the team collected for your viewing pleasure!

Next WIP. A painful experience indeed, especially in 4K. It's also not complete yet even after 2 days of painting and adjusting all the patterns and triangles to intersect correctly. The geometry involved here doesn't quite fit with the FSL due to the fact that the rudder is too small on the FSL and the vertical stab doesn't meet the fuselage in the right position but I'm getting there! The patterns and intricate details of this livery is not a joy to paint and align and I hate it Remind me to never do Air Malta again

!!! NOTE: READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY !!! *** FOR FSL A320 v5.0.100+ ONLY *** This download is mandatory for liveries that are referenced by it as it contains shared common files that are required to change the appearance of common FSL A320 parts used in these repaints. About this file This is a shared library of modified textures that contains common files for the custom 4K PBR A320 v5.0.1.100+ paint kit created by Hugo Bicho, Daniel Du Preez and John Tavendale. A new Airplanes\FSLabs A32X\Texture.CommonProfHBJT folder has been created and common files shared with all repaints are included here. This saves on drive space and simplifies management of liveries created from the custom kit. Repaints made from this kit have a special texture.cfg file that references this folder as a fallback and will be shown on the model when loaded into P3D. Installation instructions: 1. Drag the FSLabs A32X folder contained in this download to your {Prepar3D v5 Add-ons}\FlightSimLabs\FSLabs\SimObjects\Airplanes folder 2. After installation, your {Prepar3D v5 Add-ons}FlightSimLabs\FSLabs\SimObjects\Airplanes\FSLabs A32X should look like this: 3. Installation is complete! After almost a week of excruciating faffing and alignment work, Air Malta 9H-AEP is finally available here There are some areas where I couldn't replicate the IRL bird due to extreme texture distortion (mosly on belly areas at the rear) but it should be a fairly accurate representation of 9H-AEP.

And here is Aer Lingus EI-GAM, still WIP with lots of fine details to sort and alignments to do on nose, belly and tail area. I'm experimenting with a new technique on the green as it is *really* difficult to get it looking right in the sim under various lighting conditions. Let me know what you think!

6/10 - if you don´t have any EDDM scenery yet, go for it. If you have Taxi2Gate, stay with it. 33€ is way too much for that. Stuff to fix, change and to adjust. However, here some shots from my flight EDDM-LOWW. Supposed to be with sim-wings but I deactivated it again and its a custom-tweaked Taxi2Gate Munich scenery Texture details, PBR effects,.. its just incredible! @Daniel Du Preez, @Hugo Bicho & @John Tavendale! It looks like a different plane/model/addon!

Some more of THY TC-JPN, "Mardin". Still fixing up minor belly alignment issues but she's pretty much there, including custom Turkish decals on the cabin and cargo doors I've also dirtied up the IAE intake area as this frame seems quite worn compared to most.

Hello everyone, Just a small post to let everyone know that we've updated the A320-X installer to v5.0.1.101, which hopefully fixes a few issues with regional settings when language is not set to English. While this is officially NOT supported (and neither is it for Prepar3D itself, for that matter), we expect that the program should work OK. We also relaxed the requirements for Windows LTSC and Enterprise, however, again, they're not officially supported - they should install on those now, provided they're updated to latest versions. We also updated the A319-X and A321-X installers to allow for the installed products to be compatible with their existing livery installers as some of you reported they were not being found properly. All three installers are now available through our download page. As always, thank you very much for your continued support!

More teasers of the fruits of my utter frustration She's nearly there - I've done most of the geometry align work now. The only things that remain now is to create the patterns on the fuselage triangles where needed and adjust the belly logo to match IRL (may not be possible).
